Shredstar X18 is designed for secure shredding of bank statements and documents containing confidential information. Light-duty shredder handles paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Shred 18 sheets of 20 lb. paper per pass at 9-4/5' per minute into 558 cross-cut pieces per page (Security Level 3). Shredder can be loaded easily and starts working automatically. Duty cycle offers a maximum runtime of 8 minutes with a 30-minute cooldown time. Auto stop indicates when the container is full. 7-gallon waste bin can also be used as a paper bin with an opening for throwing in normal paperwork. Shredder features an 8-7/8" throat, standby operation without energy consumption, automatic start/stop control, and rocker switch for on/off and reverse.
