Advantages: Alleviates some ergonomic and safety concerns (negating need for operator to walk around load and mechanical assist to lift film roll). Optional ramp accommodates loading with pallet trucks or powered-walkies. Forklift portable. Uses standard 120 VAC outlets (move machine and plug in wherever is convenient). Negligible installation costs. Disadvantages: Requires operator full time. Increased manpower costs (vs automated machines).
